The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is currently recruiting for the following positions:
- Certified Law Enforcement Deputy Sheriff - $42,120 (after completion of FTO)
- Certified Corrections Deputy Sheriff - $42,120 (after completion of FTO)
- Non-Certified Corrections Deputy Sheriff - $30,000
- Animal Control Officer (Civilian) - $31,217
- 911 Dispatcher - $29,170
- Crime Scene Technician I - $39,409
- Food Service Cook (Part-Time & Full-Time)
- Physical Agility Test (Law Enforcement & Corrections)
- Must be able to type at least 30 Words per Minute (911 Dispatcher)
- Must be willing to work shift work, holidays and weekends (all positions)
- Must have an Associate’s Degree in Crime Scene Technology or related field, supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year previous experience in the field; Or a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Crime Scene Technology or related field, supplemented by six (6) months experience in the field. Preference given to applicants with IAI Certification. Must have a valid Driver’s license. Candidate must provide proof of having successfully completed specialized training in the following areas: Crime Scene Processing, Crime Scene Photography, Fingerprint Identification and Classification. (Crime Scene Technician I)
