This unit was formed in the mid-1990’s as a high-profile, proactive team of deputies targeting heavy narcotics use and sales.  These deputies work county-wide focusing on problem areas, targeting a variety of street crimes as well as assisting with routine calls for service.  Through their proactive approach and high-profile methods, this unit has been very effective in solving various problems within neighborhoods, many times before they become a larger issue.
