The detectives in this unit target local street sellers and any other form of organized street crime within our area. A high number of arrests per year are cultivated through video buys, hand to hand buys, search warrants and other undercover operations. These detectives take care of our most visible street dealers throughout the county and have state wide contacts to keep track of any threats headed to our area from other locations throughout the state. These Detectives are sent to training sessions during the year to keep up with new trends and methods of street dealings.
