ANNUAL REPORTS AND PUBLIC INFORMATION:

A. The Supervisor of the Professional Standards Unit shall prepare an annual statistical summary of complaints and dispositions.

B. The report will be disseminated to the public through the Media Relations Officer.

C. The Media Relations Officer shall be responsible for preparing and disseminating to the public, materials on the procedures to be followed to file a complaint against an employee of the agency.

D. Professional Standards investigations with final dispositions are open for public review. Inactive internal investigations, which are not closed, are open for public review after forty five (45) days.

E. Cases that have Criminal Intelligence Information and/or ongoing Criminal Investigation Information will be guarded pursuant to Chapter 119 of the Florida State Statues.
