The department of Emergency Management Services and Training is overseen by Major John Pietruszewski. Major Pietruszewski has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 1983 and held multiple positions including working in Road Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Commander of Directed Operations and currently Director of Emergency Management and Training. He supervises one Lieutenant, two deputies who are FDLE Certified Instructors and an administrative assistant.

Barbara Masterson handles all the administrative and clerical duties for the Department of Emergency Management & Training.

There are four (4) separate divisions under Major Pietruszewski supervision. They are:
