The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has a thriving Volunteer Unit, with approximately 250 volunteers. In 2010, the volunteers were credited with assisting the Sheriff’s Office with 10,091 hours of volunteer time.
Citizens of the county may join the Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Team and assist the Sheriff’s Office personnel in clerical, data entry, reception, civil process and parking enforcement, just to name a few.

Individuals over the age of 18 are invited to assist in not only the day to day operations of the Sheriff’s Office, but also many special community events during the year.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is very proud of our many volunteers and would like to recognize the following volunteers for their efforts:
