Message From the President:

 

On behalf of the Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation, I would like to welcome you and thank you for your interest.  The foundation was established to provide a system for Law Enforcement K-9 teams throughout Florida to receive benefits from private donors.  The benefits can be in the form of needed equipment, training, or financial assistance for a handler’s family should the handler or his K-9 partner make the ultimate sacrifice.  The Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation, Inc. was formed by K-9 handlers for K-9 handlers, and it is only through the continued support of our community members, such as yourself, that we are able to provide the needed assistance to our teams.

 

You can trust that your compassion and support is, and always will be, a beacon of light when times seem to be at their darkest for our teams and the ones who care about them most.  We at the Foundation, as well as the teams and families we serve, cannot thank you enough for your participation.

Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation, Inc. is simply to provide assistance to law enforcement agencies and their K-9 teams and families when there is a financial burden being encountered. 

 

This assistance may come in the form of equipment or training needed or, more importantly, financial help for the family of a K-9 handler who has made the ultimate sacrifice.

 

It will always be the Foundation’s mission to help those K-9 teams who are struggling to keep their teams prepared to meet evil head-on and defeat it!

 

 

 

Who Are We?

 

The Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation, Inc. is a 501(C)3 tax deductible corporation that is dedicated to ensuring that K-9 teams and their families throughout Florida receive the support they need and deserve.

 

The corporation was founded by K-9 handlers for K-9 handlers.  This means that we have first-hand knowledge of the issues being encountered by K-9 teams throughout the state.  Based on this understanding, w e are prepared to do everything we can to assist those teams in overcoming those issues.

 

 

What Is Our Goal?

 

Simply put, our goal is to ensure K-9 teams affiliated with law enforcement organizations throughout the state receive the necessary assistance to address training and equipment issues.  An even more important portion of our goal is the financial assistance we wish to offer the families of those individuals who accepted the challenge of being a K-9 handler and made the ultimate sacrifice while answering that challenge.

 

We know that there are many organizations throughout the great state of Florida that are struggling to keep their canine programs alive.  Therefore, the Foundation and its supporters have made it a priority that every effort will be made to ensure the needed training and equipment are available.

 

 

How Do We Serve?

 

Since the Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation was formed to serve K-9 teams and their families throughout the state of Florida, we established certain programs to be funded.  Some of these programs are:

 

i      The purchase of necessary training equipment

 

i      The purchase of needed working equipment

 

i      The funding of training for K-9 teams

 

i      Financial assistance for the family in the event a handler is killed in the line of duty

 

 

 

 

 

 

How Can You Help?

 

i      Host a fund-raising event

 

i      Contribute financially

 

i      Donate equipment/supplies

 

i      Volunteer

 

All contributions are tax deductible and 100% of the proceeds goes to the teams we support.
